This post is prompted by an experience I had recently taking my son out for a breakfast at a local pub chain.... wasn't a positive one! It doesn't help that my default setting is based on having set up and run a successful green cleaning business. So what was the problem? or problems? Firstly, having been shown to a table but being diverted to another one as the first one hadn't been cleaned, when I got seated I saw a large sticky patch in the middle of the table and knew I wasn't going to settle so got a clean tissue out to wipe it off. Not 100% successful, so asked the waitress if it could be cleaned. She returned and across the table sprayed the cleaning fluid directly on to the table several times. The spray went onto my clothing and I indicated I wasn't happy. She then swirled the cloth over the table swishing it over the edges...... She placed the menus down on to that table which was still wet and when we picked them up, part of the menu was left behind almost like a transfer on the table. I dried the table off with another clean tissue..... Later I saw her clean another table without guests at it, and I don't know if she was having target practice or not but she was about a meter away. The trigger was so powerful the liquid splashed so hard on to the table that it went everywhere. MY ADVICE IS SPRAY CLEANING FLUIDS DIRECTLY ONTO CLOTHS then WIPE SURFACES OVER! That way you don't pollute the air with cleaning fluid, you use less, and the table is left drier.... I would still dry it off so that nothing sticks to it....... Same with toilet seats!!!!! #airpollution #indoorairquality #howtocleanatable #airquality #cleaningtips
